Mark Cuban’s three years old son, Jake has eczema. Hopefully he’ll find this website, follow my advice and be able to cure his son’s disease.
Eczema really is easy since the body, skin builds and reduces (cleanses) largely based on food, nutrients, to which you’ll find only two: building (protein, fat) and cleansing (water, minerals, sugar, etc.). The correct balance produces healthy through the correct amount of blood, structure (skin) and function. The incorrect, any amount, greater or less, inside the extreme, cause disease (eczema, psoriasis, etc.) via too much or weak hands blood, structure ans function.
Children tend to have weak, cold digestion, because they are still developing, building up energy, function, heat (digestion, respiration, elimination, etc.)
Long-term low protein, low fat (soft dairy, beans, nuts, etc.) and high carbohydrate (processed grains, cereals, salads, tropical fruits, juices, etc.) diets usually dilute and weaken digestion (bloating, gas), clog the intestines (causes abdominal skin rash), reduces elimination (constipation, loose stools), nutrient absorption and blood (blood deficiency, thin blood, anemia, weak immunity).
Blood deficiency in the extreme, is likely to weaken, sag, thin, dry, crack and even bleed your skin as well as producing partial facial flushing, red spots, splotches, acne, eczema, exposed capillaries, blue veins and or translucent skin.
Blood deficiency also weakens, cools and dampens the lungs (coughing, mucous, phlegm, sneezing, lack of breath, asthma, snore, etc.),
The cure is simple if you know basic biology (structure, function, disease, diet, nutrition, etc.) and may eat intelligently, simply. For children the worst foods are milk (any sort) and cereal, soft ice cream, tropical fruits, juices, smoothies, shakes, cold drinks, ice water, sodas, etc. The best foods are vegetable soups (no tomatoes, potatoes or eggplant) with spices, (cardamom, cumin, coriander, fennel, black pepper, turmeric, etc.), cooked not overcooked vegetables (still crunchy), cooked fruits with ginger, cinnamon), stews, chicken, turkey, eggs and even hard cheese, peppermint tea, etc.
Case history: In 1989, I designed a bad, hideous case of eczema. It first commenced as a pimple, blister in my index finger (left hand) that quickly multiplied on the next couple of months in a multitude of blisters, cracked skin, bleeding, pus, etc. that not only covered the complete back of my left hand and fingers, but have also been beginning crawl up, infect the arm. Two fingers on my small right hand were also beginning infect. This happened while I was running my health food store on and on to acupuncture school. It was gross. I wore surgical gloves in the daytime. I tried every Chinese herbal remedy. Nothing worked. My skin, hands were getting worse. I eventually ventured into Ayurvedic Medicine via Ayurvedic Healing, and Yoga of Herbs by Dr. David Frawley, O.M.D., which recommended the use of spices. My diet at that time was bland, low protein, low fat, sweet and cooling. I was moving into Florida . I reduced juices, fruits while increasing protein, fat, cooked foods and spices. I always used at the very least five spices. Within three weeks, my eczema cleared up. My digestion also improved less bloating, gas, burping, farting, etc. I did have eczema as a teenager (much less serious).
